BOISE, IDAHO SELECTED AS GATEWAY CITY FOR VANCOUVER OLYMPICS
Jackson Jet Center is pleased to announce that Boise has been selected as a Gateway city for the Vancouver Olympics; the Winter Olympics run from February 12-28 and the Winter Paralympics run from March 12-21. Aircraft planning to enter the restricted Vancouver airspace must first register online at www.2010airportreservations.ca. Once the operator has received approval and their specified time slot into Vancouver they will then need to contact Jackson Jet Center to set them up with a time slot to clear TSA in Boise. Aircraft will not be able to reposition on the field after the security inspection is completed, therefore, customers that go directly to the inspection site need to be forewarned that TSA does not have restrooms or any other amenities that an FBO would have. (Note) Only the FBO can make the reservation with TSA on behalf of the flight operators.
